6 DAYS MOROCCO TOUR FROM FEZ DAY 1: TRAVEL FROM FEZ – IFRAN – AZROU – MIDELT Today is a day of relaxation after the vibrant atmosphere of FEZ. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Mid-Atlas Mountains region, offering breathtaking Moroccan vistas. Traverse through a beautiful alpine area adorned with towering pine trees and serene mountain settings. Stop in Azrou to observe Barbary apes and nomadic shepherds amidst the picturesque journey between the Middle and High Atlas mountain ranges. Enjoy an independent lunch in Midelt, where we will spend the night. DAY 2: MIDELT – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA AND CAMEL RIDE TO SAHARA DESERT CAMP Embark on a journey from Midelt, crossing the Ziz River and passing through a series of fortified villages crafted from clay. Proceed to Erfoud and Rissani, then head towards the Erg Chebbi dunes near the remote town of Merzouga. These renowned dunes boast remarkable height and size, with some towering up to 150 meters. Transfer to camels and trek into the Sahara for an overnight stay at our Berber Camp. Enjoy a local meal, music, and an unforgettable night under the Saharan stars. DAY 3: MERZOUGA EXCURSION Explore the breathtaking desert sand dunes of Merzouga, known for their spectacular beauty. Experience a live show of Gnaoua spiritual music and visit nomads in their tents to share authentic moments. Discover natural fossilized animals on rocks and explore the holy city of Rissani, with its authentic souk and Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sherif. Indulge in Berber pizza for lunch and return to relax and shower at the Kasbah. Visit a Berber family and catch the stunning sunset if missed the previous day. Overnight in comfortable Sahara desert lodging in Merzouga. DAY 4: MERZOUGA – ZIZ VALLEY – TINEJDAD – TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY Depart the desert and journey to Todgha Gorges, a majestic gorge hemmed in by towering limestone cliffs. Explore the gorge’s depths and heights, admiring its changing colors as the sun moves across the sky. Continue to Dades Valley, characterized by lush greenery, colorful fruit trees, and striking red rock formations. Spend the night in Dades. DAY 5: DADES VALLEY – ROSES VALLEYS – OUARZAZATE Travel to the Valley of Roses via the Route of 1000 Kasbahs, stopping to admire numerous kasbahs typical of southern Morocco. Explore El-Kalaa M’gouna, known for its blooming roses used in various body care products. Visit Skoura to see the local kasbah and enjoy lunch. Proceed to Ouarzazate, home to the renowned Atlas Studios, where blockbuster films were shot. Visit the Taourirt and Ait Benhaddou Kasbahs, both UNESCO World Heritage sites. Overnight stay at a riad. DAY 6: OUARZAZATE TO AIT BENHADDOU AND MARRAKECH Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou before exploring the High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi n’Tichka pass to Marrakech.
