Accommodation arrangements will be made upon arrival. — DAY 2 : Exploration of Fez. Today is dedicated to exploring Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco. Begin your journey with a visit to the renowned Medina of Fez el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its medieval charm. Next, explore the historic Karawiyin Mosque, part of the Karawiyin University, one of the oldest universities in history, dating back to 880. Accommodation provided at the hotel in Fez. — DAY 3 : Fez to Merzouga Desert via Ifrane, Azrou, and Erfoud. Departing from Fez, journey through the scenic Middle Atlas mountains, with a stop in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa”. Continue to Azrou, passing through the cedar-filled national park known for its indigenous monkeys. Proceed to Erfoud, renowned for its fossil-rich terrain. Upon arrival in the desert, embark on a camel ride to the heart of the Sahara, where you’ll be greeted with traditional Berber hospitality, including tea, dinner, and a drum party at the Sahara camp. — DAY 4 : Merzouga Desert to Dades Valley via Todra Gorges. Awake to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes before enjoying breakfast and a refreshing shower at the hostel. Departing from the desert, head towards Tinghir to explore the ancient Todra Gorges, followed by a visit to the Tinghir palm grove. Journey through the Boumalne Dades valley to reach the stunning Dades Gorges, formed by the eroding river. Conclude the day with dinner and accommodation in the Dades Valley. — DAY 5 : Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou. Travel through the picturesque Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses to reach Ouarzazate, where you’ll visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its appearance in renowned films. Crossing the High Atlas mountains via the Tichka pass, journey back to Marrakech, where you can immerse yourself in the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Accommodation provided in Marrakech. — DAY 6 : Exploration of Marrakech. Embark on a guided tour of Marrakech, starting with the iconic Koutoubia Minaret, followed by the Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace. Explore the bustling Jemaa el Fna square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before returning to your accommodation for the night. — DAY 7 : Airport Transfer from Marrakech.
