4 DAYS FEZ TO MARRAKECH DAY 1: FEZ – IFRANE – MONKEY FOREST – MERZOUGA DESERT. Starting from Fez, we’ll traverse the Middle Atlas mountains, pausing in Ifrane, dubbed the “Switzerland of Africa”. Continuing to Azrou, we’ll pass through a national park renowned for its cedars and local monkeys. Next, we’ll explore the Ziz Valley en route to Erfoud, famed for its fossils. Upon reaching the desert, a camel ride will lead us to the heart of the dunes, where we’ll be greeted in true Sahara tradition with Berber tea, dinner, and a drum party at the Sahara camp. — DAY 2: MERZOUGA DESERT – VISIT THE NOMADS (4X4 TOUR). Witnessing the sunrise over the vast expanse of dunes will be our first enchanting experience of the day. Following breakfast, our desert exploration continues as we visit the charming town of Khamlia, renowned for its talented musicians who have embraced gnawa music as their cultural hallmark. Here, we’ll enjoy a delightful concert showcasing their musical prowess. Returning via 4×4, we’ll traverse the tracks once used in the famous Paris-Dakar Rally, pausing for a panoramic stop to marvel at the breathtaking Erg Chebbi desert landscape in its entirety. Our journey will then lead us to encounter desert nomads, providing us with an opportunity to share tea and gain insight into their traditional way of life. As the day draws to a close, we’ll return to our hotel for a free afternoon, followed by a hearty dinner and comfortable accommodation amidst the tranquil beauty of the desert. — DAY 3: DESERT MERZOUGA – GORGES OF TODRA – DADES VALLEYS – OUARZAZATE. Leaving the dunes behind, we’ll journey towards Tinghir to explore the Todra Gorges, an ancient 15th-century marvel, followed by a stroll through the Tinghir palm grove. Afterward, we’ll pause at the Todra Gorges for rest and a meal, then proceed to the Valley of Roses and the charming Berber village of Boutghrart for tea with a local family. Continuing along the Thousand Kasbahs route, we’ll marvel at kasbahs, landscapes, and nomadic cave dwellings before reaching Skoura to visit the Amredil Kasbah. Our journey then takes us to Ouarzazate, where we’ll explore the Taourirt Kasbah before enjoying dinner and accommodation in the city. — DAY 4: OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – TELOUET – MARRAKECH. Our next destination is the magnificent Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous for its starring role in numerous iconic films like Lawrence of Arabia, Obelix, Gladiator, and Sahara. Additionally, we’ll explore the enchanting Telouet Kasbah. As the afternoon draws to a close, we’ll return to Marrakech, crossing the scenic Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 meters) with its breathtaking landscapes. Arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon, we’ll conclude the tour at your accommodation or any preferred location.
