4 DAYS DESERT TOUR FROM CHEFCHAOUEN TO MERZOUGA ENDING IN MARRAKECH DAY 1: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – FEZ We’ll pick you up from a nearby hotel and start our journey to Wazan in Rif. Upon reaching Volubilis, we’ll explore the Roman ruins and visit Moulay Idriss, the Holy City. Continuing on, we’ll head to FEZ for a guided tour, highlighting its key attractions such as the medina, Royal Palace entrance, Jewish quarter, tannery, ceramics shops, and renowned FEZ souks. Enjoy an overnight stay in a charming traditional riad. DAY 2: FEZ – IFRAN – MIDELT – MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION After breakfast, we’ll drive to Ifrane, with a stop in Azrou to encounter the forest monkeys. A brief hike through the Middle Atlas mountains follows before lunch in Midelt. Our journey continues through Ziz Valley, rural villages, and Erfoud en route to Errachidia. Upon arrival in Merzouga, meet our camels for a desert ride to a tented camp. Spend the night in the desert under the stars, with dinner and breakfast provided. Opt for a comfortable Sahara desert lodging in Merzouga if preferred. DAY 3: MERZOUGA DESERT- TODRA – DADES – OUARZAZATE Start early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes before returning to the hotel on camelback from the Berber desert camp. Enjoy breakfast and a shower before heading to Dades Gorge via Erfoud, Tourog, Tinjdad, Todra Gorge, and the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The journey through the path of a thousand kasbahs between Dades Valley and Skoura offers ample opportunities for photography. Encounter Berber nomads in their caves and traverse the Rose Valley’s fertile landscape. Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate. DAY 4: OUARZAZATE – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH Our day begins with a visit to Ait Ben Haddou, followed by lunch at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. We then ascend the High Atlas Mountains to the T’ichka pass at 2260 meters above sea level, pausing for scenic photo opportunities along the way. Upon arrival in Marrakech, visit Koutoubia Menara, the Saadi Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Djemaa El Fna Square. Conclude the night with the FANTASIA spectacular, a unique Marrakech dinner performance. This marks the final day of our four-day tour from Chefchaouen to the Sahara Desert.
