2 DAYS TRIP FROM FEZ TO DESERT DAY 1: FEZ TOWARDS MIDDLE ATLAS, THEN ERFOUD AND MERZOUGA TO DESERT CAMP We pick you up from your hotel in FEZ, and our private tour from FEZ to the desert begins as we head towards Azrou, a Berber village nestled in the Cedar forest where you may have the chance to observe the local Barbary apes. Next, we visit the mineral city of Midelt before passing through the Ziz Valley en route to Erfoud and Rissani. Upon arrival in Merzouga, we embark on an exploration of the desert in the late afternoon. You’ll experience a camel ride to reach the desert camp, where you’ll witness a stunning sunset. In the evening, indulge in a traditional Berber dinner and enjoy a campfire party with drums and local Berber songs. Spend the night in Sahara tents. Please inform us if you prefer to stay in comfortable Sahara desert lodging in Merzouga rather than a desert tent. DAY 2: TRAVEL FROM MERZOUGA TOWARDS MIDELT AND FEZ After breakfast, our desert tour in Morocco continues as we travel back to FEZ via Rissani and the Tafilalt palm grove, where you’ll encounter thousands of towering palm trees. Passing through Midelt, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. Finally, we arrive in FEZ and transfer you to your hotel.
