2 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga Eending in Marrakech DAY 1: ERRACHIDIA – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA DESERT On day one, our 2 Day Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga and Marrakech begins with airport pickup. We then drive through the Ziz valley, renowned for its breathtaking views, and pass by the Aouffous oasis with its picturesque palm trees. Our journey includes exploration of fossils in Erfoud and the town of Rissani. Continuing on, we reach Merzouga, from where we embark on a camel ride across the sandy dunes to the Berber camp where dinner awaits. Spend the night in the Berber camp under the starry sky. DAY 2: MERZOUGA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY- OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH On the following day, we witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga. After breakfast, we ride camels back to the village. Then, we depart for Todra Gorges and Tinghir, with a stop to explore Todra Gorge on foot. Continuing our journey through the Dades Valley, we head to Boumalne, passing through the scenic Valley of the Roses and Skoura. Our route takes us to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where we visit the film studios where many renowned movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy were filmed. Along the way, we visit the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, one of the most well-preserved and exotic Kasbahs. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, we arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or riad.
