My friends and I had the most unforgettable 11-day adventure in Morocco, with the highlight being a 3-day tour from Errachidia to Marrakech through the Merzouga desert, thanks to Sahara Camel Trips! Moha, the owner, made organising everything easy – he was quick to respond, flexible with our requests, and had the best prices. We weren’t sure which tour to pick, but Moha sent all the options, helping us to make our decision. Our driver, Hassan, was fantastic. Thanks to him, we managed quad-biking, sandboarding, and a sunset camel ride to our desert camp (Jannat Luxury Camp) – all in one short afternoon because we arrived in the afternoon! The camp was amazing, with Wi-Fi, showers, delicious food, and a fun campfire drumming session. We even got to meet Hassan’s lovely brother, who works there. The next days were just as magical. We saw stunning canyons, Berber villages, twisty mountain roads, movie studios, and more – with Hassan going above and beyond to make everything perfect, even though he had another long drive ahead! If you’re after an unforgettable adventure, Sahara Camel Trips is the way to go. Huge thanks to Hassan, Moha, and the whole team – memories we’ll never forget! K. L. They were always quick to reply to any emails and questions we had. They provided options for payment upon arrival so we didn't have to worry about carrying cash. All-in-all the "business" end of the experience was superb. They completely stepped up when a last minute delay caused us to miss our connection to Tangier and forced us to delay our tour start date by one full day. They were so incredibly accommodating (though I know it must have forced them to scramble to change our reservations for each night). They treated it as if it was "no big deal" though I know it was likely quite a headache. An lastly (and MOST IMPORTANTLY) our driver, Younes, was a gem! He was the perfect balance of information and activity ... coupled with quiet and calm. We were so very happy with his service and professionalism. You spend quite a bit of time with your driver on this tour and we could not have imagined a better "fit" for us. Younes was a fantastic tour guide and driver. A couple of words of advice: - Be prepared for a couple of long driving days. (We did the 4 night/5 day tour from Tangier to Marrakech.) There were two days that were a lot of driving. It was fine, but just be aware that you are covering a lot of ground on this tour! - Go ahead and upgrade to Luxury. The price increase is minimal and it's probably worth it. From the start, the organization was seamless. We began our adventure at a charming Riad, where we were welcomed with tea and had the chance to relax by the pool. Shortly after, we set off to meet our guide, Obama, and our camels, he is a fantastic guide and cook and introduced us to the authentic Berber lifestyle. The highlight for me was the meal at the oasis in the heart of the desert. Obama taught us how to make traditional Berber pizza – a delicious calzone-like dish baked in the sand! It sounds unbelievable, but it tasted even better. Overall, we highly recommend Moha and Sahara Camel Trips to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert adventure. Every aspect of the trip exceeded our expectations! Bobby2024-09-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. All went as planned 2N Sahara camel tour. Our camel man Barak spoke English very well and was able to tell us a lot about nomadic life in the Sahara. Highly recommend him as a guide! This is not just an experience; it's a profound opportunity to try something magical that will deeply nourish your soul. And it's not only about what you'll do but also about how and who will be with you. When I say "who," I mean the wonderful staff of Sahara Camel Trips. From the moment we contacted them to book our 2-day camel trek, they were always responsive and professional. The entire experience was breathtaking, and you will always feel safe and cared for by them. A special shout-out to all the staff members, starting with the organizer, Moha, and including the highly skilled and kind guides, chefs, entertainers, and more. We want to especially thank Youssef, Hassan Bazin, Bassou, Omar, and Said (quad guide). A special thank-you goes to Bassou, who spent almost the entire second day with me and my partner, guiding us to the luxury camp, offering countless unforgettable moments. I could say much more about everything we experienced, but I'll leave you with some quick advice: - Book the 2-day experience—1 day is definitely not enough! - Pack only essentials for the 1 or 2 days, like a small backpack, as you won’t need much. - Book the quad activity! Our guide, Said, was amazing! - Get ready to fall in love with everything your five senses will experience! Thank you Sahara Camel Trips, and we will DEFINITELY see you soon! Our driver, Mubarak is top ! He is very punctual, super friendly, a good driver, a good guide, flexible and helpful. The camp was wonderful and the people there also very nice ! The same goes for the camel owner. Also the communication with you was very nice, fast and to-the-point. We liked it from the beginning till the end and regret that we couldn’t stay longer. We will surely recommend you to other people and book you again for a next trip to Morocco. Ford Dwyer2024-07-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Firstly, Hassan was an amazing driver and tour guide - an extremely friendly person and skilled behind the wheel in all terrains, knowledgeable in 4 or 5 languages and, being a Berber from the Sahara, he was able to provide valuable information/guidance about the areas we toured and the culture. Importantly, my wife and I always felt very comfortable and safe with Hassan on this trip deep into Morocco. We had a rough itinerary set in advance with Moha the company owner, but we had a lot of flexibility and freedom to do activities, shop and eat along the way. The van itself was modern and comfortable with good air conditioning for extremely hot summer temperatures. The desert camp chosen provided high quality service and accommodations. In our opinion, upgrading to a premium tent with full air conditioning is really the only good choice during the hot season, which is what the company recommended and what we chose (the inside of the “glamping” tent itself was very stylish and comfortable, with modern plumbing, power, shower, etc.). The camel ride itself to the camp was also very special, as was the Berber music around the campfire. We highly recommend! Moha and his team went above and beyond fullfiling all our expectations and making sure we enjoy our trek to the fullest. Everything went just so smooth, starting from booking, organization, communication arrival and pick-up, throughout the whole trek and all the way until the drop-of back at the village. We travelled in April and chose the 2 nights camel trek option (one night in a standard camp and the other one in a luxury camp) and it turned out to be fantastic. The trek itself, the authentic atmosphere and ambiance, delicious food, the company and evening entertainment were absolutely amazing and the beautiful views during the day and the gorgeous night sky full of stars were just a cherry on top for us... Our camel guide Mubarak (such a great and lovely guy!) made this trek so special and the highlight of our Morocco trip, without him this wouldn't be the same experience. Overall, a fabulous adventure, cannot recommend Sahara Camel Trips highly enough and would definitely come again! Thank you so much Moha! We stopped to enjoy sunset as well. It was really great experience in desert.
